Responsibilities Architect, build, and maintain scalable and reliable backend services and APIs that support the discovery and engagement of Fitbit premium features. Take end-to-end responsibility for the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, and operational maintenance. Work closely with Product Managers, Mobile Engineers (iOS/Android), and various feature teams to define requirements, agree on API specifications, and ensure seamless integration of backend services with the Fitbit app. Conceptualize and implement backend solutions to effectively surface the value of premium features, including AI-powered experiences like the personalized health agent, to free users.
