This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Software Engineer III - Frontend based in the United States.

### Accountabilities:
The Software Engineer III - Frontend will design, develop, and maintain high-quality web applications while collaborating with engineering, product, and design teams to deliver reliable and impactful software solutions.
- Build and maintain scalable, performant web applications using React, Redux Toolkit, Vite, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features for interactive data visualization platforms and enterprise applications.
- Translate product requirements and ambiguous challenges into clear technical solutions and implementation plans.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following software engineering best practices.
- Conduct code reviews, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and contribute to backend services when needed.
- Create and maintain automated tests while recommending appropriate testing strategies and improving software reliability.
- Participate in agile development processes, continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborative engineering practices.
- Mentor junior engineers by sharing technical knowledge, reviewing code, and promoting strong development standards.
- Troubleshoot complex software issues and deliver timely solutions that improve user experience and system performance.
- Apply AI-powered development tools to improve productivity while maintaining strong engineering judgment and human oversight.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and apply relevant innovations to improve products and engineering workflows.
## Requirements:
The ideal candidate is an experienced software engineer with strong frontend expertise, a passion for building intuitive applications, and the ability to collaborate effectively across technical teams.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional experience developing full-stack web applications.
- Strong hands-on experience with React, Redux (preferably Redux Toolkit), Vite, and TypeScript.
- Advanced understanding of modern frontend technologies including JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and component-based development.
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs using Node.js or other backend technologies.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and CI/CD development practices.
- Experience writing automated tests and understanding testing strategies, including tools such as Vitest and React Testing Library.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and algorithmic skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience with mapping technologies such as MapboxGL, Leaflet.js, or OpenLayers.
- Familiarity with Material UI (MUI).
- Experience supporting monorepo architectures and related infrastructure.
- Understanding of accessible web experiences and WCAG standards.
- Experience using AWS or similar cloud platforms to build and scale applications.
- Familiarity with relational databases, SQL, and data-driven applications.
- Experience developing APIs or services using Go, Python, Ruby, or similar technologies.
- Ability to collaborate with design teams and contribute feedback during UX development.
