We value authenticity, and agility, and we believe in creating an environment where you can do your best work, grow your career, and feel part of something meaningful.
If you're looking for a place where your ideas matter, where innovation is celebrated, and where you can help shape a brighter financial future, join us at Netwealth.
# Software Engineer in Test
We're transforming how technology teams build, test and deliver software. We're creating an engineering culture built on ownership, automation and continuous improvement, where quality is embedded from day one, not tested at the end.
As a Software Engineer in Test, you'll help shape that future.
Working within a cross-functional delivery team, you'll build automated testing solutions, improve engineering practices and help teams release software with greater speed and confidence.
##
What you'll be doing
- Design and develop automated testing frameworks and solutions driving quality engineering and shift-left testing practices
- Improve test coverage across API, integration and UI layers
- Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines
- Partner with Software Engineers, Product Owners and stakeholders to identify and manage quality risks
- Contribute to exploratory testing, release verification and continuous improvement initiatives
- Help create faster feedback loops and more reliable releases
## What you'll bring
- Strong development skills in C#, .NET, TypeScript, JavaScript or SQL Server
- Expertise in building and maintaining test automation frameworks
- Expertise with API, integration and UI automation
- Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices
- A passion for automation, quality and continuous improvement
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to challenge the status quo
## Why Netwealth?
We're investing heavily in our technology future and creating an environment where engineers can do their best work.
You'll benefit from:
- Real ownership – the teams building our products have the authority to make technical decisions and own outcomes end-to-end.
- Engineering-led quality – we're moving beyond traditional QA models, with quality built into how software is designed and delivered.
- Technical career progression – grow through a technical craft path or people leadership path, with equal opportunity, recognition and reward.
- AI-enabled ways of working – we're investing in the platforms, tooling and foundations that help engineers work smarter.
- A growing technology organisation – this is a period of investment, growth and transformation across Engineering, Platform, Reliability, Cyber Security and Data & AI.
- Modern engineering practices – automation, observability, reliability and continuous delivery are at the heart of how we work.
