Job Description
Minimum qualifications: PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields, or equivalent practical experience. 2 years of experience with software development or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting. 2 years of experience with software development with the use of SQL and advanced algorithms. 2 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture. Preferred qualifications: 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms. Experience developing accessible technologies. Experience with one or more of the following: data analysis, big data, f1-sql, log analysis, machine learning.

Responsibilities Write product or system development code. Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies. Contribute to further development of automations and tooling. Collaborate on performance and reliability issues involving massive amounts of data and information. Work with our customers (e.g., Google Compute Engine and other Google Cloud teams) to understand requirements, debug problems, and anticipate needs.
