We are excited to welcome a new member who shares our passion for technical excellence and collaborative innovation. ### Your Impact - **Engineer** high-quality, functional code and comprehensive unit tests to ensure robust software performance and reliability throughout the development lifecycle. - **Lead** small-to-medium technical features from initial design to final delivery to execute our strategic engineering roadmap effectively. - **Resolve** complex production issues through proactive troubleshooting and root cause analysis to maintain seamless service for our users. - **Mentor** colleagues and interns while fostering strong relationships across teams to elevate our collective technical knowledge and agile expertise. - **Apply** secure coding practices and threat modeling to guarantee product scalability and protect user privacy in an evolving cybersecurity landscape. ### Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience, Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience, or PhD with 0+ years of experience. - Proven experience in software development and Layer 2 application support. - Strong proficiency in Python and Django development. - Demonstrated experience working with the ServiceNow codebase. - Direct exposure to security applications and the cybersecurity domain. ### Preferred Qualifications - Advanced knowledge of modern software development lifecycles and agile methodologies. - Experience in coaching and leading technical teams through complex project roadmaps. - Proven ability to translate customer needs into actionable product features and adoption metrics. - Expertise in technical documentation and knowledge sharing through internal platforms. - Experience in managing on-call rotations and conducting post-incident postmortems. # Why Cisco?
