Using Docusign’s Intelligent Agreement Management platform, companies can create, commit, and manage agreements with solutions created by the #1 company in e-signature and contract lifecycle management (CLM). ## What you'll do We are seeking a Salesforce Developer with 4+ years of experience to design and deliver high-quality Sales Cloud and Experience Cloud solutions. In this role, you will combine deep Salesforce technical expertise with a modern, AI-first mindset. You will be expected to leverage AI coding assistants to accelerate delivery and design technical solutions that integrate Salesforce with external AI/LLM services to drive business automation.This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Manager, GTM Engineering. Responsibility - Develop experimentation for new automation capabilities and platforms - Develop backend services and domain logic layers within the Salesforce and other adjacent GTM platforms, treating Apex as a server-side programming environment for enterprise application development - Provide hands-on coding/ technical support during US PDT hours including month end and quarter ends - Develop and implement API-first and event-driven integrations across distributed systems (e.g., Salesforce, AWS services, internal platforms) using REST, Platform Events, and middleware - Build enterprise-grade, code-driven applications using Lightning Web Components, Angular and React with a strong emphasis on scalable frontend layer and service orchestration - Design systems to support high-volume, enterprise-scale workloads, including bulk processing, asynchronous patterns, and large data volumes - Develop and maintain reusable frameworks, shared services, and platform utilities to standardize engineering practices and improve developer productivity - Implement observability and reliability patterns, including structured logging, monitoring (e.g., Datadog), alerting, and proactive incident detection and resolution - Drive technical debt remediation and platform hardening, including refactoring legacy code, improving test coverage, and enforcing engineering standards - Partner with product and engineering teams to define and deliver scalable system capabilities and services - Contribute to AI-enabled and agent-driven workflows by integrating Salesforce with external AI services and automation platforms ## Job Designation Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation) Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job. Docusign reserves the right to change a position's job designation depending on business needs and as permitted by local law. ## What you bring Basic - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline - 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience (Apex, LWC/LWR, APIs), strong SQL knowledge, and exposure to AI/ML integrations - Strong integration experience using REST/SOAP, Platform Events, or middleware (MuleSoft) - Proven expertise in performance optimization, scalability planning, and platform health assessments - Experience with Service Cloud and/or Experience Cloud (Communities) - Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps using GitHub, SFDX, and CI/CD pipelines - Salesforce Platform Engineer I (PD1) certification - Excellent communication and collaboration skills across global teams Preferred - Experience supporting large-scale orgs (1000+ users) with strong governance and deployment controls - Hands-on experience with modern Salesforce frameworks (LWC, Flow Orchestration, API-led connectivity) - Proven experience integrating Salesforce with AI, LLMs, or agentic frameworks - Familiarity with security hardening, data masking, and vulnerability analysis - Experience with Apex testing frameworks (ApexMocks, Jest) or static analysis tools (Salesforce Code Analyzer) - Contributions to internal accelerators, reusable libraries, or governance tools ## Life at DocuSign Working here Docusign is committed to building trust and making the world more agreeable for our employees, customers and the communities in which we live and work.
