We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ServiceNow Software Engineer to design, develop, and implement solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in ServiceNow development, strong problem-solving skills, and experience delivering scalable CSM, ITSM and enterprise workflows. Experience with Now Assist (Generative AI capabilities in ServiceNow) is a strong plus. ### A Typical Day in the Life Includes: - Design and develop solutions on the ServiceNow platform across modules such as ITSM, CSM, and HRSD - Customize ServiceNow applications using JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, and Flow Designer - Implement integrations with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs - Lead the design and development of complex workflows, forms, and catalogs - Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions - Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices, coding standards, and platform governance - Perform code reviews, unit testing, and deployment activities - Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production and non-production environments - Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance - Support platform upgrades and new feature implementations ### Basic Qualifications: \ Bachelor’s/ Master degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field \ 5+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development \ Strong expertise in CSM, ITSM module (Incident, Problem, Change, Request Management) \ Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow scripting \ Experience with ServiceNow Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and REST APIs \ Solid understanding of ServiceNow data model, ACLs, and security concepts \ Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments ### Preferred Qualifications: \ Experience with Now Assist (Generative AI features in ServiceNow) \ Hands-on experience with CSM, ITOM and HRSD modules \ ServiceNow certifications such as: \ Certified System Administrator (CSA) \ Certified Application Developer (CAD) \ Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) \ Experience with AI/ML integrations or automation tools \ Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines Key Skills: \ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills \ Excellent communication and stakeholder management \ Ability to work independently and in a team environment \ Attention to detail and commitment to quality Nice to Have: \ Experience with Now Assist for Virtual Agent, Search, or Code Generation \ Knowledge enterprise integrations Jira, Zoom, Outlook Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) platforms (AWS, Azure)
