Job Description

Soliva Technologies LLP is hiring a Frontend Developer to join their team in New Town, Kolkata. The role is full-time, work-from-office, with timings of 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Candidates from West Bengal or nearby locations are preferred. Freshers and interns are requested not to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain user-facing features using React JS and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Integrate REST APIs into frontend applications
  • Write and maintain unit tests using Jest or Vitest
  • Collaborate using Git version control and repositories (GitHub/Bitbucket)
  • Work on website layout design and mockup creation as needed
  • Use BI tools such as Metabase for reporting and analysis where required

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Frontend Developer
  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React JS, Redux, and React Hooks
  • Experience with Material UI (MUI)
  • Experience with Jest or Vitest for testing
  • Strong experience in HTML5, XHTML, CSS3, jQuery, Bootstrap, and other CSS frameworks
  • Good knowledge of SASS and LESS
  • Experience with UI/UX design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Basic knowledge of WordPress
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)
  • Proficiency with spreadsheet tools (Excel or similar)
