We are seeking a talented and motivated Solutions Software FAE to join our dynamic team. Job Description: As a Solutions Software Field Application Engineer (FAE), you will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless integration of our software solutions with customer hardware SoC/IoT systems. You will collaborate closely with our engineering team to provide valuable product feedback and serve as a liaison between customers and engineers. Your primary responsibilities will include supporting the sales team, managing customer-specific projects that integrate our hardware modules and Express software on Android and future Linux platforms. Key Responsibilities: - Integrate customer support software with our solutions. - Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for software and hardware integration. - Collaborate closely with engineers to provide product feedback and improvements. - Act as a liaison between customers and the engineering team, ensuring smooth communication and issue resolution. - Develop, support, and demonstrate proof of concepts using our hardware development kits. - Provide technical support and troubleshooting for customers. - Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies. - Support customer visits and trade shows as requested. - Provide voice of the customer input for prioritization and road mapping. - Willing to travel internationally ~25% Qualifications: - BS or MS (BS) degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related. - Minimum 3 years of Software development experience. - Proficiency in C coding for embedded systems. - Experience in software and hardware integration and customer support. - Ability to work collaboratively with engineering teams across different time-zones. - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. - Excellent documentation skills. Desired Qualifications: - Experience in consumer audio product design, especially in TV, mobile phone, or set-top box (STB) applications, including Dolby decode, is advantageous but not mandatory. - Previous experience in a customer-facing technical support role. - Familiarity with programming hardware development kits and IoT/SoC devices.
