You will use your cyber engineering skills to lead the design and development of secure systems for Space Mission Systems. We’re looking for a Cyber Engineer who can create solutions for US Space Force that will withstand even the most advanced cyber threats. As a Lead Cyber Engineer at Booz Allen, you’ll lead teams that design systems that that manage risk to Space Mission Operations. You’ll coordinate work with development teams to identify the right mix of tools and techniques to translate your customer’s IT needs and goals into a plan that will enable secure and effective solutions. The world can't wait. **You Have:** - 8+ years of experience supporting cyber risk management on space mission systems through systems engineering and design - 5+ years of experience working with space transport networks - 4+ years of experience leading teams to evaluate and prioritize cyber threats to inform space mission owners on design and engineering decisions - Ability to communicate cyber risks in terms of engineering and programmatic risk - TS/SCI clearance - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Cybersecurity - DoD 8140 Intermediate Certification such as Security+, CCSP, or GSEC Certification **Nice If You Have:** - 10+ years of experience supporting cyber risk management on space mission systems through systems engineering and design - 4+ years of experience in executing process improvement - Knowledge of DoD cyber risk management processes such as Risk Management Framework or Cybersecurity Framework - Ability to manage team activities using technology including Jira, Confluence, and MS Teams - Masters's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Cybersecurity - DoD 8140 Advanced Certification such as CISSP, GDSA, or CCNP **Clearance:** Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required. **Compensation** At Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
