Job Description

Spectral Consultants is hiring a Data Engineer for a full-time role based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, with hands-on responsibility for building cloud data warehouses, end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines, and SAP-to-Cloud Data Warehouse integrations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hands-on coding in Python and SQL
  • Building and maintaining cloud data warehouses
  • End-to-end ETL/ELT pipeline development
  • SAP-to-Cloud Data Warehouse integrations
  • Data modeling and performance optimization

Requirements

  • Production-grade Python coding experience
  • Advanced SQL skills
  • Experience with Snowflake (preferred), Redshift, or Synapse
  • DBT experience (models, macros, testing, documentation)
  • SAP ECC/S4HANA Data Warehousing experience
  • Dimensional Data Modeling using Kimball methodology
  • Preferred: PySpark, Fivetran/HVR experience
