Job Description

Urgent hiring for an experienced Data Engineer to build scalable data solutions on Azure. The role focuses on designing and maintaining cloud-based data pipelines using Databricks, Delta Lake, and the Medallion Architecture, with strong emphasis on performance tuning and DevOps automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain scalable data pipelines on Azure Databricks
  • Develop ETL/ELT workflows using Python and PySpark
  • Design and manage Delta Lake tables following Medallion Architecture
  • Configure and manage Unity Catalog, Delta Live Tables, and Workflows
  • Build and orchestrate pipelines using Azure Data Factory / SSIS
  • Perform SQL performance tuning (T-SQL)
  • Set up and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines

Requirements

  • 5-8+ years of experience in data engineering
  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks
  • Proficiency in Python and PySpark
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) / SSIS
  • Experience with Azure Cloud Services
  • Strong knowledge of Delta Lake and Medallion Architecture
  • Experience with Unity Catalog, Delta Live Tables and Workflows
  • Strong SQL performance tuning skills (T-SQL)
  • Experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines
  • Databricks Certification preferred
  • Power BI experience preferred
  • Financial/Loan Processing domain experience preferred
  • Familiarity with Agile and Jira preferred
