SUMMARY
Kids2 is seeking a talented Senior Brand Designer to create compelling visual communications that bring our portfolio of global brands to life across print, digital, retail, social media, and marketing channels. This role is responsible for developing high-quality creative assets that strengthen brand identity, support product launches, and drive consumer engagement.
The Senior Brand Designer partners closely with Brand Marketing, Creative, Category, Ecommerce, Packaging, Product Development, and Content teams to translate business objectives into visually engaging design solutions. The ideal candidate combines exceptional graphic design skills with strong attention to detail, creative problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
This role is ideal for a designer who is passionate about creating consumer-focused brand experiences and enjoys designing across a wide variety of touchpoints—from packaging and digital marketing to retail environments, events, and product storytelling.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Design compelling creative assets across packaging, print, digital, retail, social media, ecommerce, presentations, events, and integrated marketing campaigns.
- Develop creative concepts that align with brand strategy and effectively communicate product benefits and marketing messages.
- Create layouts, graphics, illustrations, infographics, icons, and other visual assets that support global product launches and brand initiatives.
- Execute creative solutions that maintain brand consistency while introducing fresh ideas and innovative design thinking.
- Design sales materials, advertising, email campaigns, web graphics, presentations, retail displays, trade show graphics, and promotional materials.
- Collaborate with Brand Marketing, Creative, Category, Packaging, Product Development, Ecommerce, and Content teams to ensure creative solutions align with business objectives.
- Prepare production-ready artwork for both print and digital execution, ensuring quality and accuracy throughout the creative process.
- Incorporate stakeholder feedback while maintaining design integrity and meeting project timelines.
- Support creative direction through photo selection, image retouching, and basic art direction as needed.
- Maintain organized design files and follow established creative workflows and brand standards.
- Stay current on design trends, typography, consumer behavior, retail experiences, and emerging creative technologies to continually elevate the quality of creative work.
- Contribute to the ongoing evolution of Kids2 brand identities and visual standards across global markets.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- 3–5 years of professional graphic or brand design experience in an agency or corporate creative environment.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating excellence in branding, packaging, digital marketing, print, retail, and integrated campaign design.
- Experience designing for consumer brands across multiple channels.
- Strong typography, layout, color, composition, and visual storytelling skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience working within established brand guidelines while contributing fresh creative ideas.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
EDUCATION & SKILLS
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong understanding of branding, visual communication, and design principles.
- Excellent conceptual thinking and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of print production, digital design, and retail merchandising best practices.
- Ability to receive, interpret, and apply creative feedback effectively.
- Passion for consumer brands, storytelling, and creating engaging visual experiences.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- CET-6 or above, or equivalent English proficiency.
- Design-related certifications are a plus but not required.
COMPUTER / TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Experience with Figma is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects or motion graphics is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
- Experience preparing print-ready artwork and digital assets for production.
- Familiarity with project management platforms such as Workfront or Smartsheet is a plus.
- Experience leveraging AI-powered creative tools such as Adobe Firefly, ChatGPT, Midjourney, or OpenArt to enhance ideation, visualization, and creative workflow is preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk or hear.
- The team member frequently is required to sit; have flexible use of hands; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- The team member is occasionally required to stand and walk.
- The team member must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25–50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- General office environment.
- Collaborative, fast-paced creative environment supporting global brands and cross-functional teams.
- Occasional domestic or international travel may be required for photo shoots, retail visits, trade shows, creative reviews, or company events.
