Here, you will find more than just a job—you will find purpose and pride. **Product Security Engineer** **Summary:** As part, a member of an R&D team, the Product Security Engineer works in close collaboration with the project & cybersecurity lead on assigned tasks and provides inputs to the design and testing of the new product/project. The engineer also provides guidance to software developers on their security issues, engages in design reviews, and helps resolve security issues. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** - Perform threat modeling, security risk assessments, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing on various medical products and projects. - Provide/Implement security guidance and best practices in the design and development lifecycle of various medical products. - Prepare and document standard operating procedures and evaluate industry standards. - Determines required tasks and completes them on time with no supervision - Identifies and communicates potential risks with appropriate mitigations - Supports other engineers on their designs, and also receives guidance from Specialists or Principal Engineer **Experience:** - BS Degree (preferably in a technical discipline) - 8+ years of engineering experience, or comparable experience - 6+ years of security engineering experience - Experience is preferred in/with vulnerability scanning, static code analysis, threat modeling, security risk assessments, penetration testing, cloud security (Azure), web application security, mobile device security - Strong Organizational and communication skills - Proficient problem-solving skills - Strong Interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with others in a team environment - Experience in the medical device industry and FDA Regulations is preferred **Equal Employment Opportunity** Baxter is an equal opportunity employer.
