Together, we can build the future of data storage. ## Job Description You will support HDD and key component product design validation, characterization, and qualification activities. This role applies engineering analysis and data-driven methodologies to evaluate product and component performance, identify potential design or process-related risks, and support continuous improvement in product quality, reliability, and manufacturability. The role is suitable for fresh graduates or early-career candidates who have a strong technical foundation, good analytical thinking, and interest in HDD/component product design validation, data analysis, and cross-functional engineering problem solving. Responsibilities - Support HDD and key component product design validation, characterization, and qualification activities through engineering analysis and data-driven methodologies. - Analyze product, component, and manufacturing data to evaluate performance, reliability, quality, and potential design or process-related risks. - Assist in root cause analysis for product performance, yield, quality, or reliability issues by working with design, process, manufacturing, and engineering teams. - Provide analytical support for design changes, process changes, and qualification activities, including identifying potential issues prior to production ramp-up. - Develop dashboards, reports, scripts, or analysis workflows to support product/component validation, data review, issue tracking, and engineering decision-making. - Contribute to the standardization of product design validation and data analysis methodologies under the guidance of senior engineers. - Learn HDD products, key components, magnetic recording fundamentals, and related validation processes through on-the-job training and cross-functional collaboration. ## Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Automation, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline. - Fresh graduate or early-career candidate with 0–2 years of relevant experience. - Solid academic foundation in engineering analysis, data analysis, statistics, product validation, or manufacturing-related problem solving. - Basic programming or data analysis skills, such as Python, JMP, SAS, Spotfire, SQL, MATLAB, R, or similar tools. - Good analytical thinking, problem-solving capability, attention to detail, and willingness to learn HDD products and component technologies. - Good communication and teamwork skills, with English proficiency sufficient for professional working environments.
