Job Description
## Overview
LMI is seeking a Senior Product Designer to support a digital transformation program focused on AI-enabled workflow modernization, automation, dashboards, digital tool adoption, and continuous improvement. This discovery-first, outcomes-oriented role will lead human-centered design across complex workflows, translating user needs, operational pain points, adoption insights, and usage metrics into intuitive digital solutions that are usable, measurable, and adopted by Government users. This position requires an active Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship. This position allows for partial telework but requires the ability to work locally in the Tysons/DC metro area when needed.
LMI is a new breed of digital solutions provider dedicated to accelerating government impact with innovation and speed. Investing in technology and prototypes ahead of need, LMI brings commercial-grade platforms and mission-ready AI to federal agencies at commercial speed.
Leveraging our mission-ready technology and solutions, proven expertise in federal deployment, and strategic relationships, we enhance outcomes for the government efficiently and effectively. With a focus on agility and collaboration, LMI serves the defense, space, healthcare, and energy sectors, helping agencies navigate complexity and outpace change. Headquartered in Tysons, Virginia, LMI is committed to delivering impactful results that strengthen missions and drive lasting value.

- Create personas, journey maps, workflow maps, user flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
- Define and apply adoption, usage, feature utilization, satisfaction, and support-related metrics.
- Use metrics, user feedback, and help desk trends to prioritize product improvements.
- Lead usability testing, prototype validation, and post-release feedback sessions.
