Eaton’s AER MSD Mission System Division is currently seeking a Sr. Software Engineer. This position will be located at our Davenport, IA facility. Relocation benefits will be provided within the United States only. The Davenport facility has approximately 900 employees and is a leader in the design, development, manufacture and delivery of Aerospace life support and safety systems components and services to the global aftermarket and OEM markets. The expected annual salary range for this role is $86000 - $126000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. ## What you’ll do: • Develop and integrate software on embedded C and C++ products following established software development standards and processes. • Support the design and development of embedded software solutions for electromechanical systems. • Support project team activities related to the specification of requirements, software implementation, test case development, verification test execution, test environment, and certification support. • Strive to consistently produce superior results, keeping project milestones on schedule and contributing to a positive work environment. • Desire to successfully work in a team environment, establishing collaborative relationships with co-workers in person and through technology. • Develop understanding and maintain proficiency in technical areas and standards related to assigned projects. • Maintain accountability for all assigned work, provide accurate estimates on work to complete, and provide descriptions of work completed. • Communicate status of ongoing work internally within your team and to leadership where appropriate. • Actively participate in team meetings and troubleshooting project issues. • Understand debugging tools and techniques to identify and resolve errors. • Complete other duties as assigned. ## Qualifications: Required (Basic) Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or Computer Science from an accredited institution. • Minimum of three (3) years experience in software engineering. • Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
