• Coordinate global payroll inputs and validate payroll reports to ensure completeness and accuracy including wages, bonuses, commissions, equity compensation, and deductions.
• Maintain payroll supporting documentation and audit trails for each payroll cycle, ensuring all inputs, approvals, and calculations are properly documented and retained. Prepare payroll journal entries and own reconciliation of payroll-related accounts (wages and variable compensation payable, tax liabilities, benefits accruals, equity compensation, and 401k contributions).
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
• Assist with year-end reporting including W-2s and related payroll filings.
• Support audits related to payroll, benefits, and compensation.
- Compliance & Audit Support
- Maintain strong internal controls over payroll and GL processes.
- Prepare schedules and documentation for external audits.
- Assist with SOX compliance or internal control testing, if applicable.

- Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems (NetSuite, SAP, Workday, or similar).
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, reconciliations).
- Experience working in high-growth software companies is strongly preferred.
- CPA eligibility or progress toward CPA certification preferred.
