Duties and Responsibilities / Essential Functions: - Assists with month-end close by preparing and posting journal entries - Maintains different account reconciliations and resolves financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information - Assists with various audit requests - Collaborates with and supports departmental peers - Participates in continuous improvement efforts - Other duties as assigned Job Skills: - Must have strong organizational skills and a high attention to detail. - Must possess desire to grow and advance career with the Company. - Ability to prioritize, multi-task, problem solve and make reasonable decisions based on company policies and practices. - Able to troubleshoot and solve problems proactively and independently. - Must be highly adaptable and flexible to ever-changing demands and priorities in a very fast paced environment. - Flexible and able to excel in a fast-paced environment. Education and Experience Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required - 1 – 3 years of experience in an accounting or accounting-related role - Understanding and working knowledge of general accounting - High proficiency in excel
