Experience in Software Architecture, Software Engineering, Distributed Systems, and DevOps Preferred qualifications: Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. Responsibilities Lead the design and development of complex, highly available, and fault-tolerant backend systems responsible for consistent state distribution and API management globally. Advocate and instill best practices for system reliability, including comprehensive testing strategies (unit, integration, end-to-end, chaos engineering), robust monitoring, and effective alerting. Lead and guide technical discussions, including design reviews, code reviews, setting a high bar for engineering quality and best practices. Influence technical direction and standards across the team and within the broader Producer Foundations organization. Negotiate and align on technical designs and integration points with partner teams, ensuring seamless end-to-end functionality and reliability. Scope and break down large, ambiguous problems into manageable pieces, driving solutions from conception to production.
