Responsibilities Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of major, highly scalable systems across multiple teams. Be responsible for making strategic, long-term technical decisions that navigate complex trade-offs involving global scale, high availability, and system extensibility. Drive technical goals and alignment across complex, matrixed organizations. Manage highly ambiguous problems and collaborate closely with cross-functional partners (e.g., Product Manager (PM), User Experience (UX), Legal, and other engineering organization) to shape the long-term product and technical roadmap. Identify and resolve broad, foundational issues rather than just single-system bugs.
