Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 8 years of experience in software development. Experience with GPU drivers and embedded programming in C. Experience with GPU and Mobile GPU. Preferred qualifications: Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction. Experience in Kernel Drivers. Experience in C++ or Android. As a member of Pixel's Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) driver team, you will share ownership of the kernel GPU driver and the user-space graphics driver stack. You will be involved in developing new features, devising performance improvements, bringing silicon up, debugging testing problems, and identifying future requirements for both software and hardware in Pixel products. The Google Pixel team focuses on designing and delivering the world's most helpful mobile experience. The team works on shaping the future of Pixel devices and services through some of the most advanced designs, techniques, products, and experiences in consumer electronics. This includes bringing together the best of Google’s artificial intelligence, software, and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
