Experience with mobile phone SOCs and subsystems including CPU, memory, GPU, multimedia, modem and wifi. Experience with optimizing software for power and performance improvements. Experience working with embedded processors, Android BSP, kernel, drivers. Knowledge of embedded software system design. Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities Drive power optimizations on mobile phone SOCs. Provide inputs to architecture teams on new SOC features and initiatives to improve power. Analyze and optimize the software across the key components of the SOC like CPU, GPU, memory subsystem and connectivity. Develop tools and tests for validating and monitoring power consumption. Debug and resolve battery drain issues. Collaborate with Android and app teams across Google to help them optimize power.
