Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a software engineering team
• Design and deliver cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure (and comparable platforms)
• Build modern web applications using Python, Node.js, TypeScript, C#, React, or Next.js
• Architect distributed, event-driven systems, APIs, and microservices
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, Cosmos DB, or DynamoDB
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, or Pulumi
• Integrate applications and third-party systems through APIs and cloud services
• Apply Generative AI, LLMs, and Agentic AI frameworks (e.g. LangChain, OpenAI Agents SDK) to modern automation and development practices
• Drive delivery outcomes while remaining a hands-on technical contributor
• Manage stakeholder communication across technical workstreams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field; equivalent experience considered
• 5+ years of software engineering experience with demonstrated technical leadership
• Experience managing and mentoring software engineering teams
• Strong experience designing cloud-native applications on Azure, AWS, or comparable platforms
• Preferred experience with Azure Serverless/PaaS: App Services, Azure Functions, Container Apps, Azure OpenAI, Azure SQL, GitHub Actions, Azure Key Vault
• Experience with Python, Node.js, TypeScript, C#, React, Next.js or similar frameworks
• Strong understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, event-driven architecture, APIs, and microservices
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, Cosmos DB, DynamoDB)
• Experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, Pulumi), and DevOps practices
• Familiarity with Generative AI, LLMs, and Agentic AI solutions (LangChain, OpenAI Agents SDK)
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and stakeholder management skills
