Job Description

### Position: System Engineer II The System Engineer II is a capable, independent contributor who owns features end-to-end within assigned systems. They work with moderate oversight, consistently deliver quality work, and are beginning to contribute meaningfully to design discussions and peer development. Engineer IIs are expected to take ownership, communicate proactively, and demonstrate growing technical judgment. Infrastructure and cloud engineers at Monogram Health provision, secure, and maintain the cloud environments, networking, and identity systems that underpin every application and service in the organization. #### Responsibilities - Designs, develops, tests, and deploys features end-to-end within assigned systems with moderate oversight - Troubleshoots and resolves issues across environments, escalating when appropriate with proposed solutions - Writes clean, maintainable, well-tested code or configurations that meet team quality and security standards - Participates actively in code/configuration reviews, providing constructive and thoughtful feedback - Collaborates with product management, QA, and cross-functional partners to translate requirements into technical implementations - Supports peers through knowledge sharing, pair work, and informal coaching - Identifies and communicates risks, dependencies, and blockers proactively during delivery - Contributes to continuous improvement of development processes, tooling, documentation, and team practices - Leverages AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery, improve code quality, and support learning - Participates in a shared on-call rotation to support production reliability and patient safety; on-call rotates across the team and volume is generally low #### Position Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience - Minimum of two (2) years of professional engineering experience - Solid understanding of software development lifecycle, version control, CI/CD practices, and agile delivery - Proficiency in at least one modern programming language or platform relevant to assigned domain - Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to quality - Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams - Experience with or willingness to adopt AI-assisted development tools and workflows - Experience working within agile delivery teams - Proficiency with Microsoft Azure IaaS and PaaS services (VMs, VNets, App Services, AKS, Storage, Key Vault) - Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, ARM templates, Azure Bicep) - Strong knowledge of Entra ID, SSO/SAML, and identity & access management - Understanding of networking fundamentals — DNS, TCP/IP, VPN, load balancing, and firewall rules - Experience with monitoring, alerting, and observability tools (Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics) - Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) Benefits - Comprehensive Benefits - Medical, dental, and vision insurance, employee assistance program, employer-paid and voluntary life insurance, disability insurance, plus health and flexible spending accounts - Financial & Retirement Support – Competitive compensation, 401k with employer match, and financial wellness resources - Time Off & Leave – Paid holidays, flexible vacation time/PSSL, and paid parental leave - Wellness & Growth – Work life assistance resources, physical wellness perks, mental health support, employee referral program, and BenefitHub for employee discounts #### About Monogram Health Monogram Health is a leading multispecialty provider of in-home, evidence-based care for the most complex of patients who have multiple chronic conditions.
