We are seeking a Technical Product Owner / Solutions Engineer to bridge the gap between customers, engineering teams, and mission stakeholders in the design and delivery of modern cloud-based software solutions. This role combines technical leadership, requirements management, and customer engagement to ensure software capabilities align with operational needs while supporting an Agile development environment. The ideal candidate possesses a strong software development background, understands modern cloud-native architectures, and can effectively translate complex technical concepts into actionable requirements for development teams. This individual will serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers while collaborating with software engineers, system architects, and program leadership to deliver innovative solutions. Candidates with experience integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) technologies into enterprise applications are highly desired. Salary: 140k - 210k (mid level - senior) Active Security Clearance with Poly Required - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience). - Experience supporting software development projects utilizing: - Java - JavaScript frameworks - RESTful APIs - Microservices architecture - Experience supporting or deploying applications within cloud environments. - Demonstrated experience gathering, documenting, and validating functional and technical requirements. - Experience serving as a liaison between customers, program stakeholders, and software engineering teams. - Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Experience managing customer expectations and facilitating technical discussions. - Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies. - Experience using Agile collaboration tools such as: - Jira - Confluence - Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. ### Desired Qualifications - Experience leading or coordinating the design, development, and deployment of AI-enabled software solutions. - Knowledge of modern Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies. - Experience integrating AI capabilities into enterprise software applications. - Ability to evaluate multiple AI implementation approaches while communicating technical tradeoffs and architectural considerations. - Experience collaborating with: - Systems Engineers - Software Developers - Data Scientists - AI/ML Engineers - Domain Subject Matter Experts - Familiarity with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), intelligent automation, or decision-support systems. - Experience supporting cloud-native AI deployments within AWS. - Knowledge of secure software development practices and DevSecOps principles. - Experience with enterprise software modernization initiatives. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices.
