Job Description
We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Android Mobile App Testing, Web Application Testing (Laravel), and API Testing. The ideal candidate will be comfortable performing manual/functional testing initially and will gradually take ownership of automation testing, collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams throughout the SDLC.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end testing of Android Mobile Applications, Laravel Web/Admin Portals, and REST APIs
- Execute functional, regression, and exploratory testing
- Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts
- Validate application functionality, identify defects, and ensure high-quality software releases
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams throughout the SDLC
- Independently own QA activities and make informed decisions to ensure product quality
Requirements
- 5+ years of QA / Software Testing experience
- Hands-on experience testing Android Mobile Applications
- Hands-on experience testing Laravel Web/Admin Portals
- Hands-on experience testing REST APIs
- Experience with automation tools such as Appium, Playwright, Selenium, and API automation
- Strong understanding of functional, regression, and exploratory testing
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of quality
- Must overlap with the team until 12:00 AM IST (2:30 PM ET)
