Job Description

Tech Mahindra is looking for an experienced Python Backend Developer to join its dynamic engineering team in Bangalore. The role involves building and maintaining scalable backend systems, working with microservices architectures, and collaborating on the integration of AI/ML capabilities such as LLMs, agents, and RAG pipelines into production systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable Python backend systems
  • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs within a microservices architecture
  • Work with SQL and NoSQL databases for data management
  • Set up and maintain Docker containers, Git workflows, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms such as AWS
  • Collaborate on integrating AI concepts such as LLMs, agents, and RAG pipelines
  • Apply security best practices, performance optimization, and system monitoring

Requirements

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in Python backend development
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational and NoSQL databases
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
  • Familiarity with Docker, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployment
  • Exposure to AI concepts such as LLMs, agents, and RAG pipelines
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration
  • Understanding of security best practices, performance optimization, and system monitoring
  • Immediate to maximum 30 days notice period
