Job Description

Techdome is hiring a QA Automation Engineer to join its quality engineering team across Hyderabad and Indore. The role blends hands-on manual and automation testing with a strong builder's mindset around AI tooling, working closely with engineering to ship reliable, well-tested product features.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright (JavaScript)
Perform manual and automation testing across web applications and APIs
Write and execute API test suites and validate backend behavior
Develop and maintain BDD/Cucumber test scenarios
Write SQL queries to validate data integrity during testing
Collaborate within Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, standups, retros)
Adopt AI tools to improve testing efficiency and coverage

Requirements

3-7 years of experience in QA/testing roles
Strong hands-on experience in manual and automation testing
Solid experience with Playwright (JavaScript) and test framework development
Experience with API testing and automation
Working knowledge of SQL
Experience with BDD/Cucumber and Agile methodologies
A builder's mindset with active use of AI tools in daily work
