Job Description

Techdome is hiring a QA Automation Engineer to join its quality engineering team across Hyderabad and Indore. The role blends hands-on manual and automation testing with a strong builder's mindset around AI tooling, working closely with engineering to ship reliable, well-tested product features.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright (JavaScript)
  • Perform manual and automation testing across web applications and APIs
  • Write and execute API test suites and validate backend behavior
  • Develop and maintain BDD/Cucumber test scenarios
  • Write SQL queries to validate data integrity during testing
  • Collaborate within Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, standups, retros)
  • Adopt AI tools to improve testing efficiency and coverage

Requirements

  • 3-7 years of experience in QA/testing roles
  • Strong hands-on experience in manual and automation testing
  • Solid experience with Playwright (JavaScript) and test framework development
  • Experience with API testing and automation
  • Working knowledge of SQL
  • Experience with BDD/Cucumber and Agile methodologies
  • A builder's mindset with active use of AI tools in daily work
