Job Description
Techdome is hiring a QA Automation Engineer to join its quality engineering team across Hyderabad and Indore. The role blends hands-on manual and automation testing with a strong builder's mindset around AI tooling, working closely with engineering to ship reliable, well-tested product features.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright (JavaScript)
- Perform manual and automation testing across web applications and APIs
- Write and execute API test suites and validate backend behavior
- Develop and maintain BDD/Cucumber test scenarios
- Write SQL queries to validate data integrity during testing
- Collaborate within Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, standups, retros)
- Adopt AI tools to improve testing efficiency and coverage
Requirements
- 3-7 years of experience in QA/testing roles
- Strong hands-on experience in manual and automation testing
- Solid experience with Playwright (JavaScript) and test framework development
- Experience with API testing and automation
- Working knowledge of SQL
- Experience with BDD/Cucumber and Agile methodologies
- A builder's mindset with active use of AI tools in daily work
