The role requires close collaboration with technical stakeholders, subject matter experts, and documentation teams to deliver high-quality learning materials. - Create, develop, and maintain best-in-class customer-facing technical content, including course modules, concepts, task-based guides, reference materials, installation instructions, illustrations, video scripts, and in-product guidance. - Translate complex technical concepts into clear, accessible content that enables customers to successfully use and manage advanced networking and cloud-based solutions. - Collaborate with product teams, engineers, and subject matter experts to gather requirements, understand customer needs, and ensure content accuracy. - Analyze product specifications and technical documentation to determine the most effective documentation and learning approach. - Gain hands-on understanding of products and customer workflows to create practical, user-focused educational experiences. - Follow established documentation standards, style guidelines, and content processes to ensure consistency and completeness. - Lead technical documentation initiatives by coordinating efforts with other writers and managing deliverables within established timelines. - Leverage AI-powered tools to improve content creation efficiency while maintaining accuracy, quality, and consistency. ## Requirements: The ideal candidate is a technically skilled content professional with strong writing abilities, experience developing educational materials, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced technology environment. - 5+ years of experience creating technical content, documentation, training materials, or courseware for complex technology products. - Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, English, Computer Science, a related field, networking certification, or equivalent professional experience. - Demonstrated ability to produce accurate, high-quality, and user-friendly technical documentation. - Strong understanding of technology concepts such as cloud computing, automation, networking, cybersecurity, data centers, or advanced software platforms. - Ability to research and explain complex technical topics independently and in collaboration with subject matter experts. - Experience with XML authoring, content management systems, and courseware development tools. - Familiarity with AI tools for content creation, research, and productivity enhancement while maintaining quality standards. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make progress despite incomplete information. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong collaboration abilities. - Preferred experience with networking technologies, including routing, switching, network automation, virtualization, containers, cloud services, and security. - Preferred familiarity with DITA/XML principles, Markdown, PowerPoint, Agile methodologies, JIRA, and technical documentation project leadership. ## Benefits: - Remote/teleworker work environment with flexibility to manage professional and personal needs. - Competitive annual salary range based on location and experience: - Colorado: $85,600–$163,000 USD - California: $92,700–$187,500 USD - Illinois, North Carolina, and Texas: $81,500–$187,500 USD - Potential variable incentives in addition to base compensation. - Comprehensive health, financial, and emotional wellbeing benefits. - Professional development programs designed to support career growth and skill advancement. - Inclusive workplace culture that values diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences. - Opportunities to work with innovative technologies and contribute to solutions used by customers worldwide.
