If you're passionate about solving complex technical challenges, leading talented engineering teams, and driving technical excellence at scale, we'd love to hear from you. ## What Your Day Will Look Like As a Technical Delivery Lead at Beyond Sports, you'll operate at the intersection of engineering leadership, technical strategy, and hands-on software development. You'll work closely with Technical Directors, Architects, Engineering Managers, Project Managers, and Tech Leads to ensure our engineering teams are delivering high-quality, scalable solutions that align with both client needs and business objectives. A significant part of your role will involve supporting multiple squads across a range of projects, helping teams navigate complex technical decisions, managing delivery risks, and ensuring we continue to evolve our engineering standards and ways of working. Unlike many leadership positions, you'll remain deeply involved in technology. Around 60% of your time will be spent actively developing solutions, building Proof of Concepts, validating technical approaches, exploring new technologies, and solving the complex engineering challenges that help de-risk delivery. You'll act as a key escalation point for technical issues, supporting teams when they encounter particularly difficult problems and helping drive pragmatic, scalable solutions. You'll also play an important role in resource planning and team development, working alongside Engineering Managers to ensure squads have the right skills, capacity, and support to succeed. You'll help create opportunities for engineers to grow while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
