The Role As a Technical Lead – Appian, you’ll provide hands-on technical leadership across Pepper Technology, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality Appian-based solutions. You’ll guide squads through design and delivery, ensure alignment with enterprise standards, and help build a stable, scalable platform for the future. This role blends deep technical expertise with people leadership, working closely with Architects, Product Owners and Engineering Managers to turn strategy into practical outcomes. - Lead solution design and technical delivery across squads - Ensure alignment with architecture, security and engineering standards - Coach and mentor engineers to uplift capability and quality - Manage technical debt and support platform stability - Contribute to Appian standards and communities of practice - Partner with stakeholders to manage dependencies and delivery priorities About you You’re a collaborative technical leader who enjoys being close to delivery and supporting others to succeed. You bring strong Appian experience, sound engineering judgement, and a practical approach to solving complex problems. - Extensive application development experience, including Appian - Proven experience leading technical design in Agile environments - Strong understanding of integrations, APIs, databases and secure design - Hands-on experience with Azure Integration Services, Azure Data Platform, and data orchestration capabilities. - Experience mentoring engineers and guiding best practice - Clear communication skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders - Relevant IT qualifications or equivalent experience (Appian certification advantageous) At Pepper Money, collaboration is just as vital as your skills.
