ScyllaDB is looking for a highly motivated hands-on Technical Support Engineer to join our EMEA Technical Support team. Cool things you'll do: - You'll be working alongside our largest customers, solving their complex issues - resolving questions on architecture, recovery, security, performance, and everything in between. - You'll be an expert resource on best practices in running Scylla at scale, whatever that scale may be. - You'll be an advocate for our customers' needs - interfacing with our product management and development teams on their behalf. - You will also help build the Knowledge Base around Scylla. - 3+ years in a Technical Support Engineer position - Proven experience supporting enterprise customers in a customer-facing support role. - Experience with Linux environments - Lifelong learner and capable of multitasking during high-pressure situations. - Naturally curious and excited to learn new technologies. - Experience with Distributed Systems (Database / Storage) - Experience with Docker (Linux) - Experience with Cloud providers (AWS/GCP) - Strong English communications skills - written and verbal - Autonomous and self-motivated
