Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Lead Full Stack Java Developer to join a client team on a contract basis in Pittsburgh, PA. This is a hands-on leadership role guiding a development team in designing, building, and maintaining enterprise-grade full stack applications, with strong emphasis on Java-based backend services and modern front-end frameworks. Local candidates preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design, development, and delivery of full stack Java applications
- Architect scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot
- Guide and mentor a team of developers on best practices and code quality
- Collaborate with front-end developers on integrating React-based UIs
- Participate in technical design reviews and client stakeholder discussions
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in full stack Java development
- Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Microservices architecture
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as React or Angular
- Prior experience leading or mentoring development teams
- Must be local to Pittsburgh, PA or willing to work onsite
- Open to C2C or W2 engagement
