Job Description

We are hiring a Senior Java Full Stack Developer to design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade applications for a client engagement in McLean, VA. The role combines deep backend expertise in Java and Spring with modern cloud-native deployment on AWS, containerization, and a React or Angular front end. This is a 6-month onsite contract requiring hands-on experience across the full application lifecycle, from microservices development to CI/CD-driven deployment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain enterprise Java applications
  • Build RESTful APIs and microservices
  • Design and deploy cloud-native/serverless solutions on AWS
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure applications

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of experience with Core Java (Java 11/17+)
  • Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate, and JPA
  • Hands-on experience building REST APIs and microservices
  • AWS experience including EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • CI/CD experience with GitHub, Maven, Gradle, CodePipeline, and CodeBuild
  • Proficiency in React or Angular
  • Experience with MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, or MongoDB
  • Strong OOP concepts and enterprise application development experience
