Job Description

TekFynder is hiring a highly experienced Java Fullstack Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-availability, Tier 1 cloud-based applications on AWS. This role blends backend engineering (Java, Python, microservices, Kafka, AWS Lambda) with frontend development (React.js, Redux, HTML, UI/UX), alongside strong infrastructure automation, observability, and CI/CD ownership. The ideal candidate brings hands-on expertise in event-driven architecture, API testing, and shift-left testing practices, and is comfortable working as a C2C or W2 contractor on a fully remote basis. H1B candidates will not be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-availability cloud-based applications using Java, Python, microservices, and Kafka
  • Build and deploy serverless components using AWS Lambda and API Gateway
  • Implement and optimize React.js, Redux, HTML, and modern UI/UX principles for frontend development
  • Build scalable, event-driven architectures with a focus on performance and observability
  • Develop APIs and implement API testing strategies for microservices
  • Automate cloud infrastructure deployment using CloudFormation, Terraform, and Terragrunt
  • Optimize AWS compute, storage, and security configurations for scalability and resilience
  • Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) best practices and automation frameworks
  • Develop and execute BDD and shift-left testing strategies
  • Implement unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure application reliability
  • Enable developers to own testing through CI/CD pipelines
  • Implement observability and monitoring using AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and distributed tracing
  • Design and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated code deployment
  • Implement secure coding best practices and enforce AWS security policies
  • Perform security reviews aligned to AWS security best practices

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Java, Python, microservices, and Kafka
  • Experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and serverless architecture
  • Proficiency in React.js, Redux, HTML, and modern UI/UX practices
  • Experience with CloudFormation, Terraform, and Terragrunt for IaC
  • Working knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Gradle, and Maven
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks: Cypress, Jest, Selenium, JUnit, PyTest, BDD/TDD
  • Experience with monitoring/observability tools: AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack
  • Open to C2C or W2 engagement; H1B candidates will not be considered
