Job Description

C2C contract opportunity for a GenAI Engineer with an SRE focus, hybrid in Phoenix, AZ. The role combines applied generative AI engineering with site reliability practices, building AI-assisted tooling to improve platform health, reliability, and engineering productivity across distributed systems. Locals to Phoenix only; engagement duration is 1 year or more.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement AI-assisted solutions using Devin AI, GitHub Copilot, LLMs, and AI agents
  • Develop automation workflows for operational tasks, platform health assessments, and engineering productivity initiatives
  • Build AI-powered capabilities for code remediation and automated test case generation
  • Build AI-powered capabilities for knowledge management, root cause analysis support, and runbook generation
  • Produce operational documentation to support SRE and platform reliability efforts
  • Support reliability improvements through automation and AI-driven insights
  • Analyze incidents, alerts, and operational trends to identify improvement opportunities
  • Assist in reducing MTTR through intelligent troubleshooting and automation
  • Partner with SRE teams to improve service health, availability, and resilience
  • Enable monitoring and observability solutions across distributed systems
  • Develop AI-assisted analysis for logs, metrics, traces, and platform telemetry
  • Create dashboards and reporting mechanisms for platform health metrics

Requirements

  • Must be local to Phoenix, AZ and able to work hybrid onsite
  • Available for C2C contract engagement of 1 year or more
  • Hands-on experience with GenAI tooling such as Devin AI, GitHub Copilot, and LLM-based AI agents
  • Solid background in Site Reliability Engineering and platform reliability practices
  • Experience with observability, monitoring, and incident/MTTR analysis across distributed systems
