Job Description

Long-term contract engagement supporting AI platform and infrastructure initiatives in Memphis, TN. The role blends AI infrastructure and AI application development work, contributing to the design, build, and scaling of AI-enabling systems within a broader engineering organization. This is an 18-month contract with potential for extension, and may convert to a permanent role if desired by the candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain AI infrastructure and/or AI application components
  • Support cloud and infrastructure engineering efforts underpinning AI platform capabilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver scalable AI solutions
  • Contribute to software development practices for AI platform tooling and services
  • Participate in architecture and design discussions for AI infrastructure or applications

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5-7+ years of experience in software development, infrastructure engineering, or cloud engineering
  • Demonstrated proficiency in either AI infrastructure or AI application development
