Systems Engineer MBSE, Test & Integration, Requirements Engineering Pittsfield, MA Pay Estimated: $43.62 - $48.62/Hour U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law We are seeking a Systems Engineer to support advanced Regional Strike Programs by developing, integrating, and validating complex hardware, software, and system solutions. This role offers opportunities in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Test & Integration, Requirements Engineering, and Hardware Systems Engineering, supporting mission-critical defense programs for the U.S. Department of Defense. Responsibilities: - Support the development, integration, and lifecycle management of complex hardware, software, and system solutions for Regional Strike Programs. - Perform system validation, verification, integration, and performance testing of hardware and software components. - Develop, analyze, document, and maintain system requirements throughout the systems engineering lifecycle. - Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies to support system architecture, modeling, simulation, and design analysis. - Support hardware systems engineering activities, including system design, integration, troubleshooting, and technical evaluations. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure successful system integration and program execution. - Utilize systems engineering processes, technical standards, and best practices to support program objectives. - Identify opportunities to improve engineering efficiency through automation, artificial intelligence (AI), and continuous improvement initiatives. - Contribute to technical documentation, design reviews, verification activities, and engineering analyses. - Support Agile engineering teams in delivering high-quality technical solutions. Qualifications: - U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law - Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Security Clearance required at time of hire. - Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or a related Science, Engineering, Technology, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline. - Minimum of 2+ years of systems engineering or related engineering experience; or - Master's degree in a related STEM field with 6 months of relevant experience. - Working knowledge of systems engineering principles, processes, technical standards, and lifecycle methodologies. - Experience with systems requirements development, analysis, management, and traceability. - Familiarity with systems modeling and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and methodologies. - Experience supporting hardware and software integration, verification, validation, or systems testing. - Ability to work effectively within cross-functional engineering teams supporting complex defense systems. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience supporting Agile software or systems engineering environments. - Experience with Test & Integration Engineering, Requirements Engineering, Hardware Systems Engineering, or MBSE. - Familiarity with digital engineering, systems simulation, and model-based design practices. - Experience identifying opportunities to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) for engineering process improvements and innovation. - Experience supporting aerospace, defense, missile, or DoD acquisition programs.
