Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Linux & KVM Administrator (L2) to manage and support enterprise Linux infrastructure with expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), KVM Virtualization, and Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager (OLVM). The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting, automation, and performance optimization skills across production, development, and virtualized environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2 support for RHEL, OLVM, and KVM environments
- Troubleshoot system, storage, networking, and kernel-related issues
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes
- Manage production, development, and virtualized environments
- Execute patching, upgrades, and security hardening activities
- Automate administrative tasks using Ansible
- Perform HA/DR testing and maintain technical documentation
- Collaborate with infrastructure, network, security, and application teams
Requirements
- 5-6 years of overall experience with a minimum of 4 years in KVM environments
- Strong hands-on expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
- Experience with KVM Virtualization and Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager (OLVM)
- Solid understanding of Linux administration and performance tuning
- Experience with High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR)
- Proficiency in Ansible automation
- Kernel troubleshooting experience
- Knowledge of server, storage, and networking administration
- Experience with system patching and upgrades
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as OPManager or ZIF
- Understanding of Linux security hardening and compliance
