Job Description

UpGradient is an AI-native software and AI systems studio building production applications for clients across India and beyond. We're looking for a versatile full-stack developer who can own features end-to-end without being locked into a single framework, working across frontend, backend, databases, and cloud, and using AI-assisted development tools to build faster.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own features end-to-end across frontend, backend, and infrastructure
  • Build UIs with React or Vue, using Next.js or Nuxt and Tailwind CSS
  • Develop backend services using Node (Express/NestJS), Spring Boot, or another solid backend framework
  • Design and manage PostgreSQL/SQL and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB) data stores
  • Deploy, monitor, and improve systems on AWS and/or Azure
  • Use AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code to build faster, while reviewing and validating AI-generated output

Requirements

  • Has shipped real projects across the full stack
  • Comfortable moving between languages and frameworks
  • Writes clean, tested, documented code
  • Learns fast and takes ownership
