### Accountabilities:
As a US Personal and Tax Return Accountant, you will support tax preparation activities and ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial documentation. You will analyze tax information, assist with tax planning initiatives, and contribute to improving accounting processes and reporting procedures.
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax documents, including tax returns, extensions, quarterly payments, and related schedules.
- Review, prepare, and consolidate tax provision schedules to support accurate financial reporting.

- Monitor legislative updates and help interpret and implement new or revised tax requirements.
- Ensure compliance by preparing and submitting required documentation to relevant authorities.
- Develop and improve procedures, worksheets, and processes related to tax calculations and reporting.
- Analyze tax information related to business decisions, including potential mergers and acquisitions, to identify opportunities for tax savings.
- Maintain professional knowledge through training, industry research, and continuous learning opportunities.
- Support additional accounting and tax-related projects as needed.
## Requirements:
The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent analytical abilities, and an interest in developing expertise in US tax preparation. Both entry-level candidates and experienced professionals are encouraged to apply, provided they demonstrate commitment, accuracy, and a willingness to learn.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in US accounting or US tax preparation is a plus.
