Job Description

A manufacturing company based in Maraimalai Nagar is looking for a Software Developer to build and support desktop applications and database solutions used across production and reporting workflows. The role sits at the intersection of application development, database engineering, and reporting, working closely with cross-functional teams to keep production systems running smoothly and to deliver new tools that support the manufacturing operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain desktop applications using C# (.NET WinForms/WPF)
  • Design, develop, and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases, tables, stored procedures, and queries
  • Create and maintain reports using Crystal Reports, SSRS, or Power BI
  • Integrate applications with REST APIs and third-party systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application, database, and production issues
  • Perform software testing, deployment, and post-production support
  • Prepare technical documentation and follow coding standards and best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • 1+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of C#, .NET Framework/.NET
  • Experience with WinForms/WPF
  • Hands-on experience in Microsoft SQL Server
  • Knowledge of Crystal Reports, SSRS, or Power BI
  • Experience with REST API integration
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
  • Knowledge of barcode scanners, weighing scales, PLC/SCADA systems, or ERP integration is an added advantage
