Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW: - Support wire harness design activities. - Conduct new harness and component supplier evaluations. - Perform wire harness benchmark activities. - Support new supplier integration using internal Stellantis systems. - Work with wiring teams to identify and integrate cost save efficiencies into wire harness designs. - Support wiring team transition to built-to-print processes and keep team aligned on timing. Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or related field - A minimum of 8 years of engineering experience - A minimum of 5 years of transportation wiring design and release experience or vehicle electrical system experience - Experience in working with electrical component suppliers - Excellent communication skills that include writing, creation, and presentation of management-level high-quality presentation materials and reports - Proficient in MS Office suite of tools, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word Preferred Qualifications: - Master of Science degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering - Training in DFMEA, DVP&R and DFSS development tools and processes - Working knowledge of CAD systems (NX, Catia) - Experience in high volume manufacturing facilities - Familiarity with wiring harness drawings and specifications for automotive applications - Web publishing and familiarity with SharePoint data management environments
