Key Responsibilities

• Design, draft, and execute detailed test plans, suites, and test cases covering functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
• Conduct end-to-end testing across core gameplay, UI/UX responsiveness, audio, animations, and cross-platform compatibility (Mobile/Desktop/Web)
• Verify complex card game mechanics, hand-ranking evaluations, betting rounds, side pots, payout calculations, and RNG logic
• Test real-time multiplayer sync, user session management, socket connections, network latency, and reconnect behavior
• Perform manual exploratory testing as well as build or maintain automated test scripts
• Identify, log, and track defects using tools like Jira
• Collaborate closely with Game Designers, Developers, and Product Managers

Requirements

• 1 to 3+ years of hands-on game QA experience
• Strong understanding of Poker rules, card game mechanics, and RNG principles (a huge plus)
• Solid knowledge of software QA methodologies, test case writing, and requirement analysis
• Experience testing across iOS, Android, and Web platforms
• Familiarity with defect tracking and API/backend tools (Jira, Postman, Charles Proxy, Fiddler, etc.)
• Nice to have: exposure to automation tools (Appium, Selenium, Unity Test Runner, Python/JS), game engines (Unity/Unreal), or database validation
