Job Description

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer with a strong telecom background to design, build, and maintain automation frameworks that ensure high-quality software releases. The role involves close collaboration with Development, Network, Core, and NOC teams to validate product quality across the telecom stack.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts
  • Perform API automation, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing
  • Create test plans and test cases, execute manual and automated testing, and manage the defect lifecycle
  • Collaborate with Development, Network, Core, NOC, and cross-functional teams
  • Analyze defects, validate fixes, and ensure high-quality product releases
  • Work with Jira, Confluence, and protocol/debugging analysis tools such as Wireshark

Requirements

  • 4-8 years of QA automation experience
  • Strong API automation experience (mandatory)
  • Hands-on experience with Java or Python
  • Experience building automation frameworks
  • Solid manual testing, regression testing, defect management, and release validation skills
  • Proficiency with Jira and Confluence
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Preferred: Postman, REST Assured, Pytest, Robot Framework, Selenium
  • Preferred: telecom domain expertise (3G/4G/5G, Mobile Core, Roaming, MAP, Diameter, GTP)
  • Preferred: Wireshark, microservices, AWS/GCP, CI/CD, 3GPP & GSMA standards
