Job Description

We are hiring an API Automation QA Engineer on a 6-month contract to validate REST APIs and cloud infrastructure on Azure. The role involves building and maintaining automated test suites for backend services and UI flows, working closely with development and DevOps teams to ensure release quality across CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute REST API automation test suites using Postman and REST Assured
  • Build and maintain UI automation scripts using Selenium and Playwright
  • Perform infrastructure validation on Microsoft Azure environments
  • Integrate automated test suites into Azure DevOps or Jenkins CI/CD pipelines
  • Monitor application and infrastructure health using Azure Monitor
  • Support Disaster Recovery (DR) testing initiatives
  • Write test scripts and automation utilities in Python
  • Report defects and collaborate with development teams on resolution

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of experience in API automation and QA engineering
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
  • Strong experience in infrastructure validation
  • Proficiency in Python
  • Experience with REST API automation tools such as Postman and REST Assured
  • Experience with Selenium and/or Playwright
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps or Jenkins
  • Preferred: Azure Monitor experience
  • Preferred: Disaster Recovery (DR) Testing experience
  • Immediate joiners preferred
