Job Description

We are looking for a skilled .NET Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications using the Microsoft .NET framework. The ideal candidate should have experience building scalable web applications, writing clean and efficient code, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver business solutions. Onsite role in Wisconsin; local candidates preferred. Mandatory in-person interview required. W2 candidates only.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using C#, ASP.NET, and the .NET Framework/.NET Core
  • Develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following coding standards and best practices
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications
  • Collaborate with business analysts, QA engineers, and other developers throughout the SDLC
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Work with SQL Server to design, develop, and optimize database objects such as tables, stored procedures, and views
  • Implement application security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms
  • Maintain technical documentation and support production deployments
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience
  • Strong proficiency in C# and ASP.NET MVC/Core
  • Experience with .NET Framework and/or .NET 6/7/8
  • Good knowledge of REST API development and integration
  • Strong understanding of SQL Server, database design, and query optimization
  • Experience with Entity Framework or Entity Framework Core
  • Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Bootstrap
  • Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
  • Understanding of software design patterns and OOP principles
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Must be able to work on W2 and attend an in-person interview
